Customers are taking advantage of the Department of Motor Vehicles' field offices that are open on Saturdays across California.
DMV Spokesman Jaime Garza said the department began to offer services on Saturdays this month to help ease wait times around the state. Next month, field offices will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the first and third Saturday.
All services will be available to customers except for behind-the-wheel exams. Customers applying for a REAL ID should make sure they have the required documents to apply for the federal compliant driver license or identification card.
