Tomorrow June 5th, voters head for the polls to vote in California's primary to determine which candidates will face off in November's general election.
There are lots of issues you'll see on the ballot tomorrow and there are plenty of candidates we like (and don't like). Check out out our Voter Guide to get the real scoop on what you'll see at the ballot box tomorrow.
But, since our Voter Guide can't possibly cover every single election happening in California tomorrow, John and Ken are hosting their annual "Hour of Candidates" today at 5 p.m. during which any candidate in any race across California can call in and plead their case to the voters on why they should be elected.
A few basic rules - You only get thirty seconds. If you're stammering, or unfocused or just can't get your message out, John and Ken reserve the right to cut you off and move on to the next wannabe politician. When the thirty seconds is up, that's it!
No Committee Assignment chairs, or community boards. If you're trying to take over your neighborhood's HOA or PTA, leave that drama for the wine clubs. We want real candidates who are ready to take on the issues Californians face today.
So candidates, be ready! We'll start lining people up to promote their campaigns on the air at 5 p.m. sharp.
