There are several exciting destinations for California travelers looking to get away this Memorial Day weekend. AAA of Southern California says Anaheim, San Diego, San Francisco, the Central Coast from Santa Barbara to Monterey, Yosemite National Park and Las Vegas, Nevada are all top destinations.
Gas prices will have an impact on travelers though. Memorial Day travelers in 2016 and 2017 experienced lower gas prices with this year's prices returning to more normal price points.
Economic factors are really playing a big role in pushing travel this year and those are sort of helping cancel out higher gas prices. Air fare prices are also staying about the same this year. Millions of Californians will be traveling this Memorial Day weekend.
