LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 17th consecutive day, increasing two-tenths of a cent to $3.749, its highest amount since Aug. 21, 2015.
The average price has increased 8.7 cents over the past 17 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 3.7 cents more than one week ago, 14.7 cents higher than one month ago and 72.3 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 59.9 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose for the 13th consecutive day today, increasing two-tenths of a cent to $3.713, its highest amount since Aug. 20, 2015. It is 3.7 cents more than one week ago, 14.4 cents higher than one month ago and 69.2 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 59.7 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price has risen 8.1 cents during the 13-day streak of increases, including four-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
