Single-family home sales are on the rise across the Golden State. According to the California Association of Realtors, home sales totaled nearly 424,000 units in March, up more than one-and-a-half-percent since March 2017. The statewide median home price was more than $564,000 , up nearly nine-percent from the year before.
Mono County saw single-family home sales decline 30-percent year-over-year while Del Norte County reported the biggest increase of more than 72-percent. The majority of southern California, San Francisco-Bay Area, Central Coast and Central Valley posted month-over-month sale increases.
