Little Change to Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose for the 28th consecutive day today, inching up one-tenth of a cent to $3.572.

The average price is 2.6 cents more than one week ago, 14.9 cents higher than one month ago and 55.7 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 42.2 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.529 after rising 25 times in the previous 27 days.

The Orange County average price is 2.4 cents more than one week ago, 14.4 cents higher than one month ago and 52.8 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 41.3 cents since the start of the year.
