LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today to its highest amount since Sept. 2, 2015, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.55.
The average price has risen 22 consecutive days, increasing 12.8 cents, including three-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 5.2 cents more than one week ago, 12.5 cents higher than one month ago and 53.4 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 40 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose today to its highest amount since Aug. 30, 2015, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.509. It has risen 20 of the past 22 days, increasing 12.7 cents, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday.
The Orange County average price is 5.2 cents more than one week ago, 12 cents higher than one month ago and 50.6 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 39.3 cents since the start of the year.
