LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Los Angeles police and the FBI asked for the public's help today to identify a man responsible for a series of bank robberies in the Woodland Hills area.
All three robberies took place on Monday. The first occurred about 2:20 p.m. at a bank in the 21800 block of Sherman Way. The second took place about 10 minutes later in the 22800 block of Victory boulevard, and the third happened 10 minutes later in the 22000 block of Ventura Boulevard, authorities said.
The suspect walked into each of the banks, approached employees and gave them a note demanding money. The note also threatened that he had a gun and bomb which he would use if the money wasn't handed over.
The suspect is white, with reddish, brown hair and light colored eyes. He is between 25 and 35 years old, stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs between 150 and 180 pounds, according to authorities.
