California Adventure's Pixar Pier Set to Open June 23rd

Better find your Supersuit, Paradise Pier inside Disney's California Adventure Park is about to change forever.

That's right, one of California Adventure's most popular attractions is getting a big facelift when Paradise Pier becomes Pixar Pier on June 23rd.

What's getting changed? The re-theme on areas like Paradise Gardens, Goofy's Sky School,  and Jumpin' Jellyfish will be inspired by the films from Pixar Animation Studios.

Check out some photos of the construction below:

The re-imagineered land will include four new whimsical neighborhoods that represent some of Pixar's most beloved stories. Guests will enter Pixar Pier through a new marquee, which will be topped with the iconic "Pixar Lamp" later this year.

Pixar already has a huge influence in the 72-acre park themed after California's culture and history. A Bug's Land features characters from the story A Bug's Life, one of Pixar's first animation movies after Toy Story.

One of the new attractions includes "The Incredicoaster" a new ride featuring characters from "The Incredibles."

According to Disney, the "Incredicoaster" is far more than just a ride - guests will get to see their favorite characters bring the ride to life thanks to lighting and special effects as you join the superhero family to catch baby Jack-Jack.

Check out the video below to see how Imagineers created the new ride experiences and how they've approached storytelling for an audience riding on a 50 mph coaster.

You'll also get to see a new float debut for the popular "Paint the Night" parade which features Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone from "The Incredibles." The float brings the cartoon superhero's world to life with high-tech special effects and design inspired by the film. Parade-goers will get to see Violent, Dash and Jack-Jack like they've never seen them before.

The Paint the Night Parade will make its Disney California Adventure park debut during the first-ever Pixar Fest celebration which begins throughout the Disneyland Resort on April 13th.

So, what's next for Disney's California Adventure Park?
