Kids are being rushed to see immigration judges, activists complain

Posted July 29th, 2014 @ 2:17pm

According to the LA Times, immigrant children that are apprehended at the border are being placed first in line to go before immigration judges.  They sometimes see a judge within 48 hours of being processed.

This is due to a new shortened timeline enacted by the Executive office of immigration Review, which also applies to adults who are apprehended with children at the border.
