According to 10 News, Border Patrol agents union representative Ron Zermeno said that the influx of immigrants at the border is threatening the health of agents as well as national security.
Buses carrying migrants were turned away in Murrieta and they were then shipped to nearby Border Patrol stations for processing. 40 were taken to Brown Field Station in Otay Mesa. 42 were taken to the Imperial Beach Station, and 17 to the Boulevard Station in southeast San Diego County.
Furthermore, 40 more immigrants are being quarantined at the Border Patrol Chula Vista Station with active scabies and head lice.
