According to a new article published by Katy Grimes in the California Globe, there is massive speculation that Gavin Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, canceled her husband's trip to Glasgow, Scotland after she discovered the Governor's Deputy Chief of Staff, Lindsay Cobia, was on the list of staff that was supposed to be traveling with the Governor.
In March of this year, the California Globe was set to publish a story about Newsom's involvement with a staff member. At that time, the Globe received a tip about who this alleged staff member was but chose not to publish the article because "any relationship that may exist did not appear to be interfering with the governor's official duties."
Now with all the speculation about why the Governor abruptly canceled his trip, this alleged affair may be the secret cause.
