Cash For Applesauce--A Good Samaritan Tale!

Michael King had just withdrawn $10,000 from the bank to cover a business debt. He then left his wallet on the bumper of his trunk and drove off to go home.

Shortly thereafter Steve Harrison, was driving in the opposite direction and noticed some money floating in the wind. He pulled over and gathered up the cash along with King’s wallet.

After pulling into the parking lot at Costco, Harrison counted up one hundred $100 bills and three singles for a total of $10,003.

His next step: tracking down King and returning the cash and the wallet.

When the two men met, King wasn’t able to give Harrison a financial reward. Instead, he gave him a jar of homemade applesauce, made with love and care by his family.

And that’s not all. The good deed doer will be getting home-smoked salmon, homemade blackberry jam, and many more tasty treats, with thanks.
