Ingenuity Takes Another Flight, Its Longest Yet

NASA's Ingenuity copter successfully completed another Mars flight over the weekend - its most ambitious one yet.

  • The tiny drone helicopter flew more than 164 feet at 4.5 miles per hour - more than 10 times the distance and 4 times the speed of its previous flight.
  • NASA is only planning two more flights for Ingenuity, which officials say will be "really adventurous" and push the limits of the experimental technology.
  • Have you been following Ingenuity's exploits on Mars? Will humans ever reach Mars in our lifetime?
