Police sought to arrest 48-year-old Michael Reinoehl in connection with the shooting of Aaron Danielson, who was fatally shot during an Aug. 29th clash between pro-Trump supporters and Black Lives Matter protesters in Portland.

“As they attempted to apprehend him, there was gunfire,” Lt Ray Brady of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office told the New York Times.

But just hours before he was shot and killed, Reinoehl claimed in an interview with Vice News that "they're out hunting me"...

“I had no choice," he said. "I mean, I, I had a choice. I could have sat there and watched them kill a friend of mine of color. But I wasn't going to do that."

In social media posts, Reinoehl described himself as "100% ANITFA all the way".

“I hate to say it, but I see a civil war right around the corner,” Reinoehl told Vice News.
