Scientists Have Created a Cat Allergy Vaccine, but You Can't Have it Yet

I'd say this is some great news in time for this weekend's Clear the Shelters event...but maybe for next time?

Researchers at the University Hospital in Zurich are working on a vaccine that could help out those suffering from cat allergies.

The vaccine would block what's known as the "major cat allergen" in felines, making them less likely to set off triggers in humans.

Scientists say the HypoCat injection has been "tolerated well" in their test subjects and they hope to release it to the US market soon!

So make sure to keep this in your back pocket because as we know, there's a lot if kitties that need a home!
