Homeless Issue Leads Trump to Say California is ‘a disgrace to our country’

On Thursday, President Trump held a campaign rally in Cincinnati where he singled out California for being “a disgrace to our country.” His speech targeted leftist politicians and their lack of control over California's inner cities which are overrun with crime and filth.

“Look at Los Angeles with the tents, and the horrible, horrible disgusting conditions. Look at San Francisco, look at some of your other cities,” the president stated.

Trump acknowledged the issue of the left wing nuts choosing to rather prioritize undocumented immigrants rather than natural born U.S. citizens. California, especially, is suffering from the lack of political management. That's you, Gavin Newsom.

“Look at San Francisco. And then you have a governor who invites the whole world to come into California, we’ll pay for your health care. .. Who wouldn’t come up? How crazy is this?”

Trump makes a valid point. Other states aren't infested with a homeless crisis like we are.

“Nearly half of all the homeless people living in the streets in America happen to live in the state of California. What they are doing to our beautiful California is a disgrace to our country. It’s a shame. The world is looking at it."

It's clear why this is. We've been led astray by corrupt politicians who are lazy and misguided more focused on “stolen money, and it’s a shame. They’ve been led exclusively by Democrats, and look at ’em, we can name one after another, but I won’t," Trump said.

Last week the president took to Twitter to comment on the state of Baltimore, Maryland which was taken to assume the president had a racist agenda. At the Cincinnati rally however, he pressed on stating that Baltimore is in fact suffering from higher suicide rates than the war in Afghanistan where tens of thousands have been killed.

“I believe it’s higher than — give me a place that you think is pretty bad,” Trump asked a member of the crowd. “The guy says Afghanistan. I believe it’s higher than Afghanistan.”

He added that although the Democrats do oversee the inner cities mainly, they have lost all control.

“For decades these communities have been run exclusively by Democrat politicians and it’s been total one-party control of the inner cities. For 100 years it’s been one-party control, and look at them,” said the president.

There is an answer to improving out streets and improving our conditions, Trump stated.

“Today, I have a simple proposal for Democrat leaders to support legislation to end illegal migration, and we will use the vast savings to rebuild our inner cities,”
