Average Southland Gas Prices Drop

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped a half-cent today to $3.303 after rising two-tenths of a cent each of the past two days.

The average price is 1.6 cents more than one week ago but 13 cents less than one month ago and 2.6 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price dropped eight-tenths of a cent to $3.269, one day after rising three-tenths of a cent. It is 1.9 cents more than one week ago but 11.6 cents less than one month ago and 2.3 cents lower than one year ago.
