Trump Gives Ovechkin Jersey To Putin At Helsinki Summit

The Helsinki Summit turned into a big ol' Christmas gift exchange with both world leaders bearing gifts for each other.

Russian President Vladimir Putin handed Trump a World Cup soccer ball from the games held in Moscow, saying through a translator, "the ball is in your court," as the US will host the Cup in 2026.

Trump says he will regift the soccer ball to his youngest son Barron, while Senator Lindsey Graham tweeted, "Check it for listening devices."

For Trump's gift, he gave Putin a jersey from Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin, as well as a hockey puck.

For those who aren't super-mega sports nerds like us...Ovechkin is from Russia and helped the Caps win their first Stanley Cup this year.
