Ten days after being named White House Communications Director by President Trump Anthony Scaramucci is out. A statement from the White House says Scaramucci "felt it was best" to give new Chief of Staff John Kelly a "clean slate and the ability to build his own team."
The move comes days after Scaramucci lashed out against Steven Bannon and Reince Preibus in a profanity laced interview with the New Yorker. The New York Times is reporting that the move to replace him was done at the request of Trump's new chief of staff John F. Kelly.
