Creep used comic book conventions to lure teen girls into sex

Police in Loudoun County, Virginia say a 35-year-old man from Cantonsville, Maryland most likely used comic book conventions around the country to lure teen girls into sex.

Derrick Jones was arrested in Utah on a charge of soliciting sexual contact with a teenage girl from Virginia through social media.

Jones provided transportation for the girl to travel from her home in Ashburn to meet him somewhere in Baltimore.

Police want to know more about the girls Jones contacted in other states. They say that since March Jones has been to conventions in Orlando, Courtesy Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City.
