This afternoon we spoke with Rodrigo Macias, Sandra Duran's fiance, who told us that President Trump called him this morning to offer his condolences:
Macias got no call from Eric Garcetti, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck, or Jerry Brown. Those men are responsible for Sandra Duran's death, and they don't care at all about the safety of Californians.

"It is very unfortunate that we will no longer enjoy Sandy Duran's company, as she passed on February 19, 2017. Sadly, She left behind two wonderful boys; Chris 18, and Jacob who is 12. As her co-worker, It was obvious that Sandy was a perfect mother, and friend. She talked so highly of her boys, and dedicated her life to them. I humbly ask for any donations for her boys, as it can help with school spendings, and any other life necessities they may need. A big thank you in advance for those who are able to help as these coming days, months, and years will be the hardest for Chris and Jacob as they will no longer have the most important person in their lives any longer.
