INDUSTRY (CNS) - A badly burned man found on a freeway today with his feet and hands bound was on life support.
The discovery was made at 1:36 p.m. near the transition road from the northbound San GabrielRiver (605) Freeway to the Pomona (60) Freeway, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
He was burned all over his face and body. He was initially taken to a Kaiser hospital and then transferred to County-USCMedicalCenterBurn Center.
He had crawled out of the riverbed wash and up onto the freeway, according to sheriff's investigators.
Investigators remained on the scene as of 8 p.m.
