Residents of Lahaina went back to their houses after one of the biggest wildfires in American history destroyed or damaged them. Rebuilding talks have barely started, and recovery might take years, given that over 2,200 structures are impacted.
More than a dozen restaurants in Orange County are taking part in the Ohana Mai Tai fundraiser to aid Maui fire victims, with 100% of proceeds going to the recently established Legacy of Aloha Foundation. Over 800 TS Restaurants and Maui Brewing Co. employees who lost their homes in the fire will receive grants from the foundation.
