Two teenagers from Las Vegas have been apprehended and are now facing murder charges related to the devastating hit-and-run incident that took the life of Andreas "Andy" Probst, a 64-year-old retired chief of police for the city of Bell.
The occurrence took place while Probst was cycling on August 14, approximately 16 miles away from the Las Vegas Strip, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
A video shared on social media appears to indicate that a Las Vegas juvenile went out of his way to run down and kill a bicycle rider, and he will likely be charged with murder and tried as an adult.
Last month, surveillance footage of the incident surfaced, showing the driver of a stolen Hyundai Elantra laughing with a passenger as the car sped and swerved to follow the bike rider before striking him.
