Danny Masterson is being kept behind prison under continual monitoring.

According to sources, the actor, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison for rape yesterday, is under 24-hour video surveillance, with deputies visiting his cell every 30 minutes to check on his mental state.

Shortly before issuing the sentence, Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo informed the 47-year-old actor that he is "sitting here steadfastly on your claims of innocence."

She proceeded to say "Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here."

Danny's lawyer, Shawn Holley, says the actor is mentally strong and believes his conviction will be overturned on appeal after meeting with many top appellate attorneys.

Masterson's attorney clarified that he was not claiming a "grand conspiracy" existed against his client, but he did tell the jury that the purported victims had interacted with one another despite an LAPD detective's warning and that their statements had changed over time.
