On Wake Up Call this morning we have co-founder of the San Marino Motor Classic and rare car enthusiast, Aaron Weiss! Where he discusses the 2023 San Marino Motor Classic event that is being held this Sunday, August 27th as the car show returns to Lacy park for its twelfth year.
The car show draws in award-winning vehicles from all over the southwest. The event also brings adoptable dogs and tons of volunteers!
The San Marino Motor Classic is a prestigious Concours 'Elegance including a Concorso Ferrari, where many of the world's finest classic cars are on display and are judged. The 2023 Motor Classic will be Presented by RUSNAK Auto Group and the 2023 Symphony of Cars Hosted by David Lee & Hing Wa Lee Jewelers. An Event Day VIP Luncheon, food trucks and vendors will enhance the viewing experience.
The 2023 Motor Classic weekend will include the Symphony of Cars Gala, a tour of an Exotic Car collection, and the Automotive Fine Arts Society exhibit on Saturday, August 26th.
Motor Classic entries represent a good balance between the pre-war classics and post-war sports cars.
The number of brass, antique and pre-war classics that may be lost in a sea of Ferrari's, Porsche's and Lamborghini's but they tell the story of the development of the automobile and should continue to be of great interest to automotive historians. The event will conclude with the presentation of the Best in Show Awards for the various car classes judged.
The San Marino Motor Classic is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization that has awarded over $2.5 million to local charities. We owe our success to our dedicated organizing committee, experienced day of event volunteers, Sponsors, Donors, and Judges. Without our Entrants who prepare their cars for judging, there would be no San Marino Motor Classic.

$35/PERSON. David Lee has once again offered to host an event on Saturday, August 26, 2023. A limited number of people (50) will take a tour bus ride on Saturday at noon from Lacy Park to his collection, returning around 3:00PM.

SYMPHONY OF CARS GALA AT LACY PARK - Sponsored by David Lee, Hing Wa Lee Jewelers $300/PERSON - Includes general admission to AFAS Exhibit & San Marino Motor Classic The Symphony of Cars Gala that benefits the Cancer Support Community Pasadena will be held on Saturday evening, August 26, 2023. The ticket to this event includes complimentary valet parking, hosted bar, wine with dinner, three course gourmet dinner AND the presentation of cars. Fifteen interesting cars will be presented individually on a raised platform while the Gary Toles Orchestra plays a musical composition written in the year the car was manufactured. This is an incredible evening under the stars. Great cars, great wine, fantastic food all among car enthusiasts. This year Bill and Nancy Nave have generously donated B Cellars Wine for your enjoyment. The cost per person is $300.00. It is all inclusive.

The gates open to the public at 9:00AM. The Awards ceremony will commence at 1:00PM and the event will conclude with the presentation of the Best in Show Awards at 3:00PM. In addition to the automobiles, a number of vendors and food trucks will be onsite at the show. Sandwiches, salads, beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase.
