Rihanna to Headline Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show

Pop singer Rihanna is packing up her umbrella and taking it to Arizona as she is set to perform at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show.

The announcement came after speculation was stirred when both the star and the NFL shared a photo of Rihanna's hand holding a football.

Jay-Z, whose entertainment agency Roc Nation will be one of the executive producers of the show, praised Rihanna in a released statement.

"Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn...A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment."

Rihanna joins a long list of major talent who've performed at the game, including icons like Prince, Beyoncé and last year's all star ensemble of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

Super Bowl LVII will take place on February 12, 2023, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
