MIT Scientists Found a Way to Turn Spider Webs into Music

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are making music...out of spider webs.

The team of scientists took two-dimensional laser scans of spider webs, stitched them together and converted the sounds into mathematical models that can be recreated in 3D virtual reality.

As fun as this is, there is a super sciency reason they did this.

The team said that by listening to the music and moving through the VR spider web, they can get a better idea of how spiders see the world.
