How To Get Free Lunches For Kids This Summer In Los Angeles

Yesterday, the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks launched their Summer Lunch Program that will offer free lunches at more than 30 locations across the city.

From June 29 to August 14, the department will offer first-come, first-serve pick up lunches for free to people 18 years and younger. However, adults with disabilities who are enrolled in special school district programs will also be invited to participate.

There are no income restrictions, however the city will only be offering one lunch per participant each day. And all residents who pick-up a free meal will have to wear a mask.

There are also a few other 2020 summer lunch programs that can offer assistance and free meals to kids throughout Los Angeles. Visit CBS Los Angeles to learn more about the programs currently available.
