Rescued Pups are on the Road to Recovery and Ready for Adoption

After going through terrible neglect, 21 dogs that were rescued earlier this week are now ready for their second chance for a better life, KTLA reported.

The abuse was brought to the attention of authorities after several neighbors complained about a horrible stench in the neighborhood.

Upon arriving at the scene, they were heartbroken to find the multiple dogs severely malnourished, living in horrid conditions, and left to survive off a diet of tree branches.

Now in the care of the Inland Valley Humane Society, all the pups have been cleared to proceed with the adoption process and are on the road to recovery.
