San Diego Officer Adopts Dog Found in Back Seat of Stolen Car

Love can find you in mysterious ways and I'm sure San Diego police officer Andre Thomas wasn't expecting to find it while on an investigation.

Officer Thomas was on a stolen car case when he found a scared yellow Labrador dog staring at him from the back seat.

Though he was fresh off the loss of his own beloved yellow Lab, fate decided to give him a little push.

After bringing the dog to a local humane society and no one came to claim him after three weeks, Thomas decided it was time to open his heart to another furry pal.

He named the dog Victor and according to the city of San Diego Instagram page, the two have been best friends ever since.
