A dog at an animal shelter in Ohio finally found her forever home after waiting for 525 days.
Cassie arrived at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton on August 9th, 2017. The vets and volunteers that got to know her said that she's a very loving pup and has been a complete 'rockstar' in their training program.
Thankfully, Cassie found her new family on January 16th.
The shelter said in their Facebook post that they "may have shed a few tears saying goodbye and there may have been a few squeals of excitement, but we are so happy for Cassie and her new family!"
