A lawsuit has been filed against Airbnb by a group of women who endured a nightmarish ordeal. These senior citizens had arranged to rent a property in Michigan called 'The Castle' in order to celebrate their 50th high school reunion.
On the fourth night of their stay, they were jolted awake by “screeching noises" and discovered their rental home had been infiltrated by a horde of bats.
The women recount being not only frightened but also physically harmed, with some of them sustaining bites and others having the bats become entangled in their hair.
An exterminator's investigation revealed a substantial colony of Michigan Brown Bats that had taken up residence in the attic for several years. To make matters worse, the women had to receive rabies shots as a result of this harrowing encounter.
