This week, Twitter's switch to version 'X' was extended to the main app stores.
The app is now identified as 'X' on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Because Apple had a policy prohibiting apps with one-character names, the changeover took a few extra days to complete. The app's tagline has also been modified from "Let's talk" to "Blaze your glory!"
