Due to the pandemic and a chip shortage, Apple has experienced a reduction in its annual iPhone production, with the number of units going down from 90 million to 85 million over the past two years. Now, in an effort to recover from the losses incurred, Apple is planning to implement price increases for its Pro models, as reported by Bloomberg based on anonymous sources. The forthcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to become the most expensive iPhone ever released, according to these sources.
This pricing strategy shift comes after last year's announcement by Apple officials that the prices for the iPhone 14 models would remain in line with the previous year's iPhone 13 models. However, it turned out that the prices remained unchanged only in the U.S. and China, while other regions experienced price hikes.
