Tina Turner, renowned as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll," has passed away at the age of 83.

The sad news was announced by her manager on social media, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of Tina Turner. Known for her mesmerizing music and boundless zest for life, she captivated millions of fans worldwide and served as an inspiration for aspiring artists. Today, we bid farewell to a beloved friend who leaves behind her greatest legacy: her music. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family. Tina, you will be profoundly missed.

Tina rose to fame in the 1960s as a member of the Ike and Tina Turner Revue, delivering numerous chart-topping hits and earning two Grammy awards.

After enduring years of domestic abuse, Tina parted ways with Ike, leading to the dissolution of the Ike and Tina Turner Revue.

The iconic singer staged a remarkable comeback in the 1980s, receiving an additional six Grammy awards. Notably, her 1988 concert in Rio de Janeiro attracted an astounding audience of 180,000 people, making it one of the largest ever for a solo performer.

In 2008, Tina retired from the entertainment industry, entered into marriage with her husband Bach, and became a citizen of Switzerland.

• Tina bid a final farewell to her fans through the 2021 documentary titled 'Tina.' She passed away "peacefully" after an extended illness, at her residence in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland.
