Business at Southwest Airlines has resumed after the FAA grounded flights due to "technology issues."
- “Early this morning, a vendor-supplied firewall went down and connection to some operational data was unexpectedly lost. Southwest Teams worked quickly to minimize flight disruptions,” a representative for Southwest wrote.
- More than 41 percent, or over 17 hundred, flights were part of the delay.
- Service resumed around 8:10 a.m. Pacific time.
