Chiefs legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Len Dawson has died at the age of 87.
- In a statement, the family said Dawson died this week "with wife Linda at his side". He had entered hospice care earlier this month.
- Dawson was a star quarterback for the Chiefs in the 1960's and 70's, leading the team to their first Super Bowl win in 1970.
- He would remain in Kansas City as a broadcaster for 33 years before retiring in 2017.
- How has the league changed from the time of Dawson's career? How should the Chiefs honor him this season?
