United Airlines officials have agreed to donate flights to bring baby formula into the United States, the White House revealed on Wednesday.
“United Airlines has agreed to transport Kendamil formula free of charge from Heathrow Airport in London to multiple airports across the country over a three-week period," reads a statement released by the White House.
The shipments, which will be part of the Biden Administration's "Operation Fly Formula," will include more than 300,000 pounds of formula.
They'll begin arriving on June 9th, after which they'll be "distributed and available for purchase at selected U.S. retailers nationwide, as well as online," the statement reads.
