A small dog survived a brush with death after it somehow ended up on the sixth-floor ledge of a hotel in Las Vegas on Thursday.

The harrowing incident occurred at the Virgin Hotel, where a nervous crowd gathered near the pool to watch as someone struggled to open locked French doors located right behind the frightened animal...
After several minutes, the person inside the room finally broke the lock, reached over a railing, and pulled the dog to safety as the crowd below cheered.

A rep for Virgin Hotels says she has no idea how the dog ended up on the ledge.
