Many restaurant and fast food chains were struggling before the pandemic crushed their bottom line. But now months into the coronavirus pandemic, it's getting even tougher.
Business Insider has been following the fast food giants throughout the last few weeks, and just named 15 that we'll be seeing a lot less of in 2021... Some of them include:
Steak and Shake - recently closed 51 stores after already closing over a hundred locations....
Subway - which may be forced to close another 900 locations soon....
Pizza Hut - says they may have less than 7,000 locations by 2021...
Burger King - has plans to close 200-250 stores per year over the next few years.
At the beginning of 2019, there were 57 Fuddruckers restaurants across the United States. Now there are just 40. Other restaurants closing several stores in the next year include Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday and even Taco Bell. But don't worry, there are still 7,116 Taco Bell locations, just in America.
