Have you ever accidentally sent a text to the wrong person?
It's usually pretty embarrassing, and can even get you in a bit of trouble in some cases...
Thankfully for one person, their accidental text to a police officer didn't get them in trouble, but it did get them some attention on the internet.
The Winfield Missouri Police Department posted the text conversation on Facebook, with the caption "We were invited to go to a baseball game tonight!!!! Unfortunately we don’t think they are gonna come pick us up..."
It all started with a message from the stranger, “Hey, would you like to go to the game tonight it won’t you free hot dog & soda.”
To which the cop simply responded, “I would love to go to the game tonight! Sadly I think you have the wrong number."
Once the stranger began insisting that they did in fact knew each other, that's when things got hilarious.
“We got high together girl!" the person texted.
So the officer decided to send a selfie of himself in uniform, along with his badge.
“Pretty sure we didn’t get high together,” he added...
