Drivers Are Being Urged to Fix the Recalled Airbags in Their Car Despite the largest recall in US automotive history, people are continuing to drive around with airbags that can explode at any time according to industry officials. "We can't make consumers bring their cars in for repair, but their lives depend on them doing so," says the NHTSA. Takata airbags can be replaced for free. Visit NHTSA.gov and search using your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The result will tell you if your car or truck is included in the recall. Have you checked to see if you have one of those airbags?
