L.A. River Homeless Encampment on Top of Gas Pipeline Causes Concern

Residents in Studio City have growing concerns about a homeless encampment built on top of a gas pipeline in the L.A. River. Locals say they've been notifying authorities and utility companies about the encampment but no one has done anything about it. The high-pressure natural gas pipeline is under the jurisdiction of SoCal Gas. The utility company has sent out workers to verify if it's an actively used pipeline.
