New developments have emerged about the murder of Cash App founder Bob Lee. The suspected killer is 38-year-old tech consultant Nima Momeni. Lee and Momeni were out with a group of friends on the night Lee died. An unnamed source that was around both men that night says Nomeni and Lee got into an argument earlier in the night. Nomeni blamed Lee for allegedly letting another person in the party get too drunk. While both men happened to be in the same circle of friends they themselves were not close friends. Lee was found bleeding from stab wounds near the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge around 2:35 am on April 4th. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The SFPD has not disclosed a motive at this time, but Nomeni has been formally charged with murder.
