Biden Visits Mexico To Tackle Politically Charged-Issues in America

President Joe Biden touched down in Mexico on Sunday for the first time since becoming our president, covering many issues that include drugs, guns and migrants that are affecting the U.S. as he prepares for the 2024 Presidential elections bid.

Biden and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador are expected to discuss their differences and trade practices that could help out both countries from crucial goods and supplies.

On top of the list, is the issue with fentanyl that has been erasing thousands of Americans each year, the surge of gun-related crimes and how the U.S. wants to put an end to the smugglers that are bringing in illegal weapons over the border.

Before touching on Mexican soil, Biden stopped in El Paso, Texas as he was being scrutinized from congressional Republicans over the southwest border and how its gotten out of control since he came into office.

According to NBC News, Biden proposed “new immigration enforcement policies that include sending back 30,000 people a month who crossed into the U.S. illegally from Mexico, having come from places like Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela and Haiti.”
