Surge Of Crimes Could Have Been Preventable with Policies

According to the Wall Street Journal, exploding numbers of violent crimes could have been circumvented. However, progressive politicians' "reckless revolving-door policies" from the 1960s and 1970s, led to violent crimes in American history.

The WSJ reports that research has repeatedly shown that a small, dedicated group of habitual offenders commit the majority of predatory crime, according to the Wall Street Journal. They make up a negligible portion of the population—about 1%—but between 50% and 70% of violent predatory crimes. Claiming that each of these offenders will commit dozens, if not hundreds, of crimes each year, frequently while out on bail, probation, or parole.
