The sheriff of Riverside County Chad Bianco joins the J&K show to talk about the drug crisis involving fentanyl-related fatalities in Riverside.

Several law enforcement organizations in California, according to Sheriff Chad Bianco, have been getting in touch with his office and the district attorney's office to ask what they are doing to combat the fentanyl crisis. In connection with fentanyl-related deaths, 22 persons have been held by his investigators since the county's fight against suspected dealers began in early 2021.

The county has 80 to 100 killings annually, according to Bianco, and he currently has 20 investigators working on these cases, which puts additional pressure on the detectives already working on fentanyl-related incidents.
