According to a recent New York Post article, Harvey Weinstein, a prisoner already serving 23 years after being convicted of sex charges in New York, has asked the judge to provide him access to a private dentist to fix his "rotten molars."

“I’m in pain every day. I have cavities and I can’t eat because I’m missing teeth,” the former movie producer said.

He prefers a private dentist to the prison medics who are assigned to him because they will only pull his teeth out and leave big holes in his mouth.

“This situation is an emergency,” he told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lisa Lench, according to the New York Post. “I will pay for the dentist … it will be one trip and one trip only.”
